Love Gardens

We are well aware that the hunger crisis in South Africa has not yet seen its end and probably will not for years to come. We realize that in order to keep meeting the needs of our communities we have to offer a sustainable solution to hunger. We have thus implemented the planting of vegetable gardens alongside the township soup kitchens in order to sustain the need. This in turn allows the community feeding scheme to become self-sustainable but also allows for economic benefit in that the surprise produce can be sold.

These Love Gardens are run within the Community Havens.

By partnering with our Love Gardens your donation goes straight toward the purchasing of seedlings, tools and equipment as well as payment for labour to run these essential gardens.
