Project

Hospital Outreach

The maternity ward at Dora Nginza Hospital sees 150 women pass through its doors every 3 days. Many come from extreme poverty and difficult circumstances and usually leave the hospital with nothing for their babies.

With tremendous help from our friends we regularly put together beautifully made up “Baby Shower Bags” for mothers in need at Dora Nginza.

We have for the past few year distributed hundreds of gift bags to the new mothers at the hospital but also have revamped entire wards, mothers’ rooms, nurses tea rooms and we’ve recently donated hundreds of new mattresses and blankets for the general ward during COVID-19 with the help of many generous donors.
